The Brookland Baptist Young Adult Ministry: All Young Adults ages 18-35, are encouraged to join us for the Spring 2015 Bible Study Series, "IMPACT- I'm Putting Away Childish Things," led by Evangelist Crystal Evans. Bible Study is every Tuesday at 6:00PM, in the New Member's Orientation Classroom. Weekly topics include: “Grow Up: Putting Away Childish Things”, “Moving From Milk to Meat”, “Spiritual Maturity: What It Is and What It Is Not”, “Steps to Spiritual Maturity: How to Grow up in Christ, Signs of Spiritual Maturity”, “Growing Up in Christ (God's Image vs. Self Image)”, and “Guarding Your Spiritual Gates”.

Save-The-Date! The Spotlight on Youth Recognition of Student Achievements for the first semester of this school term will take place on Sunday March 15th, during both Worship Services. The deadline for submission of student data sheets and documentation of achievements received by students in grades 1-12 will be Friday March 6th. Parents may pick up data sheets from the Progressive Auxiliary mail box in the Administration Building, or from the church’s website at www.brooklandbaptist.org. Please complete data sheet, attach documentation, and place it in the Spotlight on Youth mail box on or before Friday, March 6th. Save-The-Date! The Young Women of Excellence will sponsor its Inaugural Oratorical Contest Friday, March 27th at 7:00PM. The theme is: “Weaving the Stories of Women’s Lives: Celebrating Phenomenal Women.” The contest is open to girls in grades 5-12. All contestants are required to attend at least 3 designated workshops which will prepare them for the competition.
