Girls Growing In Grace
The Girls Growing in Grace is a ministry for the girls in grades 5 - 8. They spend one year in the program and participate in a variety of activities which include community services as well as various workshops. They are also required to attend meetings of Brookland's women's ministries. Each group is introduced to the church on Women's Day and completes the program in April of the following year.
Their Victory Celebration includes a symbolic transition into "womanhood" which symbolizes a bond that cannot be broken.
- To discover the purpose and plan God has for the lives of young women
- To develop the ability to oversome obstacles and serve as an inspirations to others
- To develop leadership characteristics
- To attain a level of achievement to include academics and self-improvement
