Brookland's Corporate Fast continues if you would like to join us please click here and view our fast calendar and prayer dates or join us for an hour of prayer on Wednesdays at 6 PM in the Main Sanctuary.

Registration for the Winter session of the Crown Financial Course is available TODAY.  You will learn biblical principles on what God says about honesty, giving, living debt free, and so much more. The Brookland Baptist Church Black History Month Committee, is seeking new members for 2019.  Please contact Dr. Bess at or Mr. Campbell at to express your interest in joining the committee.

- Parents would you like for your teen to start 2019 out fresh? Encourage them to join us for our 2019 Victorious Vibes! All teens please join us in Vibe Teen Worship every 2nd and 5th Sundays at 11:00 am at Lakeview cafeteria. The bus will pick all teens up at 10:45, 11:00 and 11:15 am in front of the Health and Wellness Center and will return them to the Health and Wellness Center.

- Join us in bible study and our second Sunday service as our topic is Victory over Peer Pressure, taken from Daniel 3. Join us in Teen Bible Study every Sunday at 10:00 am upstairs in the gym on 1st, 3rd, and 4th.  Please come and learn about God and how he moves in your life.  Parents please encourage your teens to join us and trust the process.

The Brookland Baptist Soup Kitchen Ministry delivers soup and sandwiches each Saturday (Now through early April) to the elderly, sick and shut-in and other persons in need in the Cayce/West Columbia community. If you are interested in either volunteering and/or sponsoring the Soup Kitchen, please contact our coordinator, Donald Wood at or 803.414.8295. In-kind donations are also accepted.

- The Brookland Foundation's Health and Wellness Program Invites you to Project Get Active: 5 Months to Fitness beginning January 14th. Let's move with a purpose and get our bodies Fit in time for spring.  Join us for Zumba Mondays' at Drew Wellness Center, Work-It-Out Wednesdays at the Brookland Health and Wellness Center walking track, and Mall Walk Thursdays at Dutch Square Mall. Entrepreneurship Club Meeting Thursday January 17th at 6:00 at the Heyward Career Center all students in Grades 4-12 and ages 18-25 are invited to attend You don't want to miss this important meeting you will learn how to protect your ideas with copyrights, trademarks and patents and receive important leadership and STEM information from the Obama Foundation. Also registration information about the 2nd Annual Young Entrepreneurship Camp for this summer. The next regular scheduled Prison Ministry Meeting is Thursday, January 17, 2018 at 6 pm in the Arts & Craft Room of The Health & Wellness Center. All who have expressed an interest in prison ministry and would like to join us in prison ministry; You are invited to join us at this meeting.

- The Brookland Brotherhood Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday Breakfast will be held on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at 9:00 AM. Attorney, Author and Civil Rights Leader James L. Felder will be keynote speaker. Rev. Dr. Harry Singleton of Benedict College will share Reflections on the Theme. Musical Tribute to Aretha Franklin by Brookland Male Chorus and Ms. Saundra Crawford. - The Banquet & Conference Center celebrates Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Monday, January 21st. The Café will be open for Lunch 11:00AM-3:00PM. Come with family and friends and dine with us. Deacon’s and Trustees Quarterly Meetings is January 26th at 8 AM in the Banquet and Conference Center.

- Brookland Baptist Church Young Women of Excellence The YWE 5th Annual Oratorical Contest 2019 Mandatory Orientation Workshop and Registration Place: Richland County Library Main – Room 213 (1431 Assembly Street, Columbia, SC 29201) When: Saturday, January 26, 2019 at 9 a.m. Or Saturday, February 2, 2019 at 9 a.m. Eligibility: The contest is open to young women who are currently in grades 5 – 12. SAVE THE DATE: Brookland’s Youth will host their annual Souper Bowl of Caring food drive on Sunday, February 3rd on BOTH campus. They will be accepting monetary donations or non-perishable items. -The Couples for Christ ministry will journey to Kiawah Island Resort on February 8-10, 2019. The theme for the retreat is "Marriage for the Glory of God: Unbroken, Undivided, and Uncompromising!"  Rev. Dr. Thurmond and Attorney Barbara Bowens of the Trinity Baptist Church will serve as the retreat speakers.  Breakout sessions will also be held.
